What is Worm Casting?

Worm Fertilizer (Vermicompost) is an organic fertilizer obtained as a result of separating vegetable or food waste and passing worms through the digestive systems. Vermicompost, the common name of Worm Fertilizer in the world, is also called vermicomposting.

Worms are the only form of life that has survived since ancient times. While living under the ground, they have created a strong immune system against the pathogens it has been exposed to for millions of years. Worm Fertilizer obtained from the feces of worms is a type of organic fertilizer that provides resistance against diseases of root and root while increasing the yield, durability and quality of vegetables, fruits and plants.

Worms transmit body fluids (ochloma fluid) found in them and in the digestive system and protect them, and this fertilizer provides resistance to pathogens in plants. In the digestive system of worms, there are microorganisms useful for many plants, nitrogen fixing bacteria, mycorrhizal fungi, natural growth hormones and enzymes that will create antibiotic effects. These enzymes and dense plant nutrients that pass into the fertilizer provide healthy and rapid development in plants.

Thanks to microorganisms, enzymes, plant nutrients and solomic fluid; Thanks to the Organic Worm Fertilizer that enriches the soil with organic matter, regulates the pH balance and the biological structure of the soil, improves its physical structure, resistant and quality products are obtained.

The reason why this fertilizer is highly valuable is that it contains dissolved and nutrient elements that are immediately available for plants, as well as many organic compounds important for plant development and beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. Since the micronutrients in organic wastes passing through the digestive system of the worms are excreted naturally and in colloidal form, they can be easily taken by plants without any loss in the soil.

Since this fertilizer also includes organic compounds such as amino acid, enzyme, humic acid, fulvic acid, which accelerate plant growth, it increases phytohormone activity when applied to plants and increases resistance against diseases. Biohumus also includes Rhizobium bacteria that make symbiotic nitrogen binding and asymbiotic nitrogen binding bacteria. Therefore, it increases nitrogen gain when applied to soils. With all these features, worm manure is evaluated, produced and marketed as biological fertilizer material.

Properties of Worm Fertilizer:

While its granular structure regulates the soil's soil and provides aeration, its high water holding capacity minimizes the water stress in the soil.

It protects the plant against the negative effects of weather conditions (frost, temperature differences, etc.).

It absolutely does not contain weed seeds.

It provides quality, abundant and long shelf life products.

It is 100% ecological and non-toxic.

It regulates the properties of soil such as Ph, bitch and moisture.

In particular, it provides the rehabilitation of tired soils that are contaminated with chemicals, have lost their strength and vitality.

It regulates acidic, sandy soils and makes it suitable for agriculture.

Odorless.

Plants grown with worm manure do not contain any nitrate residue.

It does not pollute water, air and soil.

It stays in the soil for a long time, so it meets the nutrient requirement of the plant for a long time. It gradually adds the nutrients to the plant according to the needs of the plant.

Worm Fertilizer contains a large number of symbiotic bacteria (Rhizobium) and bacteria (Azotobacter) and mycorrhiza fungi that fix nitrogen from asymbiotic microorganisms. These micro organisms break down into nutrients that are in the soil but cannot be taken by the plant and turn it into a form that can be taken by the plant. In addition, the nitrogen-fluting bacteria facilitate uptake of the nitrogen in the air by the plant. When the secretions of worms mix with their feces in the production process, they contain many and different types of enzymes, vitamins, amino acids, growth hormones. These enable the plant to grow faster and to be resistant to adverse environmental conditions.

Advantages:

It is effective for plants at the same time as a source of food and as an incentive for their growth.

It heals soils with low humus, stimulates beneficial microorganisms in the soil.

It improves the general condition of the soil and transforms the organogenetic elements in the soil into the form that plants can take.

The nutrient elements contained in the fertilizer extract remain in the soil for a longer period, which allows them to be better absorbed by the plants.

It is rapidly soluble in water and is compatible with all medicines and fertilizers used in agriculture.

It helps plants to form a solid coke system, increases plants' resistance to stress and pathogens, and is an excellent fertilizer for the production of ecologically clean agricultural products.

It is recommended to lay the Worm Fertilizer in the vegetables before planting. In case of necessity to be discarded after planting, it is recommended to apply the seedling to the soil corresponding to the leaf drop.

It is recommended that the Worm Fertilizer is applied to the soil that corresponds to the leaf drop in the trees before and after planting.

Vegetables:

It provides 30-50% high efficiency.

Seed germination increases the energy by 40% and reduces seed cost.

It provides early seedling formation for 10-15 days.

It provides earliness at harvest for 10-15 days.

Due to its ecological nature, vegetables fed with worm fertilizer have original color, aroma and taste.

Its aqueous solutions act as pesticides on the leaves and stem.

Fruits:

It provides rapid and strong sapling development.

It provides 100% successful transplantation.

Fruits are harvested 10-15 days early.

Fruits make them larger, original morphology, aroma and delicious.

It provides fruits with ecological, clean, carcinogenic substances that contain high vitamins and nutritional values.
